The funny thing about this comeback album is that not all of the band members played on this record. Andrew Wookfolk & Sheldon Reynolds did play on the album, but Verdine White did not play the bass on this album. Instead, Nathan East was the one who handled the bass parts for this project, along with other contributing/well known studio musicians/artists like Ricky Lawson and the late-great Jeff Porcaro (Toto) on drums, George Duke, Rev. Oliver Wells, Bill Meyers, and Ian Prince on Keyboards, Skylark & Preston Glass for the Synthesizer & Drum programming on "System Of Survival", Rhett Lawrence and Larry Williams on Fairlight/keyboard programming, Paul Jackson, Jr., Attala Zane Giles, and Ray Fuller on guitar, and the horn section was filled in by Jerry Hey (horn arranger), Gary Grant, Wayne Wallace, Mark Russo, Bill Reichenbach, and Dan Higgans.
Featured guest vocalists on the title track, "Touch The World" are Edwin Hawkins, Lynette Hawkins-Stephens, and Walter Hawkins (The Hawkins Singers).
The album was produced by, of course, Maurice White for Kalimba Productions, except "System Of Survival" was Co-Produced by Preston Glass for Glass Slipper Productions, "Evil Roy", "Touch The World", and "Here Today And Gone Tomorrow" was Co-Produced by Philip Bailey, "Thinking Of You" was Co-Produced and Arranged by Wayne Vaughn, and "New Horizons (Musical Interlude)" was Composed, Produced and Arranged by Bill Meyers.
Yes, I remastered this one, too (320kb).
